Description
Perfect for big knitting, weaving, pom-poms/tassel making. Amongst many other possibilities. The gauge and consistency of art yarns vary, this is what gives it character and charm when knitted/woven.
This yarn is a quirky one of a kind, featuring all sorts of fibrey fun! It is plied with a range of scrap singles left over from previous projects. I call it the crazy-ply because I use a variety of different plying techniques to create a really fun texture with coil POPS. You can see what I mean by this in the knitted example in the photos. How the yarn knits up will vary skein to skein given their unique nature.
If knitting – I would knit with this yarn using a size 15mm-20mm needles/hook depending on the drape your after. You can experiment outside of this of course. Hand spun yarns tend to work best when knit on slightly larger needles than the same weights of commercially spun wool. It also makes the yarn go further. Just remember the smaller the needle size the denser the fabric.

All photos are unedited and taken in natural light. I try my best to accurately portray colours through a variety of shots, but of course there may be slight variations.
