This yarn has such a bold and bright personality, the main colour is a black/pink varieation with bursts of contrasting turwoise and fiery speckles. The colour changes when worked up will be fairly short resulting in a beautiful painted/speckled appearance.
I re-tie all my skeins with white cotton to make winding that bit easier.The base is 75% Extrafine Merino Superwash (19.5 micron – super luxurious and soft). With 15% nylon and 10% woollen nepp. The added nylon makes it a great choice for those projects that need a little extra durability.
– The wool used in this yarn is ethically produced from sheep that have not been mulesed –Recommended needle/size- 3.5mm – 4.5mm
A very versatile yarn, It can be used for sweaters, scarves, shawls as well as more hard wearing items such as socks and gloves. Will suit any patterns that call for a DK yarn.Washing
I recommend hand washing with wool detergent to preserve the yarns life and colour to its fullest. They can be machine washed if needed on a gentle cycle with a cold setting. Lay flat to dry.I rinse all my yarns till the water is clear, if you do find any bleeding it will stop after a couple of washes.
