This yarn has such a bold and bright personality, the colour changes when worked up will be short varying from speckled mustard yellow with bursts of beautiful soft blues/purples and contrasting speckles. The result is a beautiful variegated painted appearance. I re-tie all my skeins with white cotton to make winding that bit easier.The base is Extrafine Merino Superwash, its 19.5 micron super luxurious and soft. A great choice for those with sensitive skin who can find wool a little itchy. The chain construction means this base has the weight of a super chunky yarn, but yet the yardage of a chunky yarn, knits up super fast without the dense nature of super chunky yarns… win!
These yarns are worsted spun from extra long staple fibres to produce a yarn that is fine and strong with a silky feel.

Recommended needle/size- 8mm – 12.75mm
A very versatile yarn, these yarns are ideal for socks/hats/jumpers/shawls and also makes a great choice for baby clothes being soft and washable. Will suit any patterns that call for a super chunky weight yarn.
Washing
I recommend hand washing with wool detergent to preserve the yarns life and colour to its fullest. They can be machine washed if needed on a gentle cycle with a cold setting. Lay flat to dry
I rinse all my yarns till the water is clear, if you do find any bleeding it will stop after a couple of washes.
