More about this one of a kind Art Batt..
I have added my favourite texture fibres between layers of the softest hand painted organic Falkland wool. Lots of silk and other pops of beautiful, bold block colours add contrast to the variegated nature of these fibres when spun.
I spend a lot of time carding these batts, incorporating many different colours, and like to think of each as its own fluffy painting.
I have passed through my carder just once, this is to deliver the most texture possible and keep the colours from ‘blurring’. I designed these batts with chunky spinning in mind, although I also enjoy spinning them into a dk/aran 2 ply. I tend to pull these batts into strips before I spin them. When spun they have a beautiful variegated, slightly scrappy aesthetic. See photos for some examples of what I mean by this!

All photos are unedited and taken in natural light. I try my best to accurately portray colours through a variety of shots, but of course there may be slight variations.

I send all international parcels via Royal Mail tracked and signed. This includes compensation of up to £50. To insure your parcel for up to £250 (around £2.50) please add a note to your order and I will invoice you, or subtract it from any excess postage (often the case for larger orders.)
Prices will automatically calculate in your checkout. The price depends on the total weight of your order. I will refund any excess postage.
